Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

  2. Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Mix in melted butter and baking soda.

  4. Stir in salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

  5. Mix in flour until well blended.

  6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

  7. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Cool before slicing and serving.
